VSQG Appointment Requirements

Please follow the requirements listed below to keep you and your community safe before and during your appointment.

27 Gallons or 220 Pound Volume Limit per Month

Example: 5 full 5-gallon containers + 2 full 1-gallon containers = 27 gallons of waste
State regulations prohibit a VSQG from transporting more than 27 liquid gallons or 220 solid pounds per month to the appointment in your vehicle. A VSQG cannot dispose of more than this amount of hazardous waste within one month. If your waste volume exceeds this amount, you must make an additional appointment(s) for a future month(s).

5 Gallon Container Size Limit

The Program only accepts containers that are 5 gallons or less in size. If you have waste in an oversized container larger than 5 gallons:

• Get buckets with lids that are no larger than 5 gallons in size.
• Transfer waste from larger containers into the 5 gallon bucket(s) and secure the lid.
• Label the 5 gallon bucket(s) with the name and description of the original product.

IMPORTANT: KEEP YOU, YOUR BUSINESS EMPLOYEES, AND COUNTY EMPLOYEES SAFE. PLEASE DO NOT MIX ANY WASTE.

Request an Appointment Time

You must request an appointment to recycle/dispose of your VSQG business hazardous waste. Please follow these steps:

• Have your Hazardous Waste EPA Identification Number ready, if required.
• Have your waste inventory prepared.
• Request a drop-off appointment date and time.
• Enter your contact information on the next page.
